Where we came from
A1 Super Locksmith Services started in Rockville in 2012 and has worked out of it ever since. The work has spread outward across the county from there — front doors in Twinbrook, shop fronts in Wheaton, car keys in Bethesda parking garages, safes that nobody in the family remembers the combination to.
The business is organised into four divisions, because the four kinds of call need different tools in the van: residential, commercial, automotive and emergency. Most days involve all four.
Why who answers matters
Search “locksmith near me” and a large share of what comes back is not a locksmith at all. It is a national call centre that buys the search result, takes your details, and sells the job on to whichever subcontractor is nearest and willing. That model is why so many locksmith stories end the same way: a van you have never heard of, a technician who cannot tell you what anything costs, and a price that arrives after the drill has already been used.
